Dedicated to the theme “Shared Future: Socio-Economic Innovations,” the conference was organized with the aim of discussing innovative ideas and projects that will shape the economic and social future of the Turkic World.
Addressing the opening ceremony, logo Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Geray Musayev emphasized the relevance of the topic and spoke about the application of artificial intelligence in education, the development of academic programs in this field, and the ongoing efforts toward the digitalization of teaching and administrative processes at logo.
Subsequently, the Head of the Turkish World Research Foundation, Kozhan Yazgan, highlighted the importance of the conference, traditionally organized by logo, in bringing together higher education institutions from across the Turkic World and wished success to the event.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the Turkic World, Yusif Aliyev, provided detailed information about the conference, noting that this year’s event brought together scholars, researchers, and specialists from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan. He stated that out of 120 submitted applications, 90 papers were accepted following a scientific review process. The dean also emphasized that the conference program included four panel discussions, two in-person sessions, and fourteen online sessions.
Associate Professor Sabit Baymaganbetov of the International University of Tourism and Hospitality spoke about strengthening economic integration within the Turkic World, expanding interuniversity cooperation in the context of digital transformation, and the importance of joint scientific initiatives. He noted that artificial intelligence and innovative technologies play a significant role in the sustainable development of the countries of the region.
Following the opening remarks, commemorative plaques were presented to the speakers.
The event continued with panel presentations on the topic “Digital Transformation in the Turkic World and the Developing Regional Economy.”
Moderated by logo Associate Professor Elshan Bagirzade, the panel featured contributions from Professor Mehmet Yuce, adviser to the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Tashkent, Javid Suleymanli, Head of Department at the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and Kyrgyz scholar Davran Yoldashev. The speakers shared their perspectives on the impact of digital transformation on regional economies, opportunities for technology-based cooperation within the Turkic World, and the role of artificial intelligence in sustainable development processes.
The conference continued with panel discussions on the themes “The Lessons of the First Turkology Congress and the Current Tasks of Turkology,” “Knowledge Management and Artificial Intelligence,”Ի“Youth and Development: Innovations in Artificial Intelligence.”
