Undergraduate students of the Faculty Technology and Design in the “Gilan Textile” park
IV year undergraduate students of the Faculty Technology and Design majoring in “Technology Engineering of Consumer Products” of logo of Economics visited “Gilan Textile” park situated in Sumgait.
Visiting yarn production, weaving, dyeing-decorating and garment productions of the enterprise students became familiar with the technological processes possessing up-to-date technologies from Germany and Belgium. They were informed that the majority of the employees working at the enterprise are the alumni of the Faculty Technology and Design. Head of the enterprise noted that they need graduates majoring in textile engineering, emphasizing the personnel needs of the company to be met by logo in future. Expressing the desire for closer cooperation with logo the management said that they will sign a contract with logo to provide internship programs for the students.
